Greetings from The Financial Heed,

This blog is dedicated to helping others who are struggling financially to achieve financial stability and eventually have their financial freedom. We often think that anything related to the word ‘financial’ belongs to the upper class, the rich, or the intelligent but the truth is, it’s for everyone. Because we are too frightened with the jargon of financial terms, our brain tends to shut off whenever someone talks about it. We are trained to believe that our paycheques are there to provide food on the table and to pay bills. This is because we’ve inherited this mindset and habit. After all, our parents, our parent’s parents does the same thing.

We’ve also been taught or made believe that talking about money is a bad thing. Money as most of us have heard ‘is the root of all evil’. Therefore we associate money with just that. Think about it, money has provided shelter for the refugees, it has helped people with medical research for AIDs, and in this current pandemic, the Corona Virus. The list just goes on and on. Of course, money to have created monsters but there are always 2 sides to a coin. It depends on which side you want to be on. The minute we shift our mindset about what money is and what it can do, it will change our perspective on why we want to acquire or have it.

Changing one’s mindset is probably the hardest thing to do. Your mindset is also dependent on what you’ve been feeding it for the past 10, 20, 30 years. The way your mind works creates a sort of habit that you wish you could get rid of but don’t know-how. I know it is easier said than done, but if you want a better life, I’m afraid you don’t have a choice. Anything great requires commitment, dedication, and consistency. We’ll stumble a few times or probably a hundred times, but as long as we are determined to do it. We will persevere.

The Financial Heed aims to educate people about the importance of financial awareness. We see a lot of people who have 2 -3 jobs to just sustain a simple life and yet we don’t understand why is it still so difficult to put food on the table, to pay bills, or to save for our retirement age. Could it be because life is hard and they are meant to lead that life or maybe, it is the way they think about the money that creates their reality? You work hard, to get more money. There is some truth in there but here at The Financial Heed, we would like to share ways and method that is easy to understand. Brokedown into the simplest term so that we may slowly pave our way to the goal, which is FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

We are thrilled and excited about this and we can’t wait to share more of this soon. We hope that we’ll be able to help you build a better life for yourself. See you in the next post. A toast to a greater future.
